Looking into the future I know I have a few years until I graduate college. This blog post will show 8 jobs I would be interested in having in the future, what I need to fulfill requirements for this position, and the company that is hiring.
- Digital Marketing Specialist Pella Windows and Doors
To qualify for this job I will need to work on my digital creativity. Digital creativity only comes with practice. I will also need to continue building leadership skills because you can never have too many good leadership skills.
2. Real Estate Agent/Realtor Lucas Howard Group
Besides taking courses in real estate to get my license, I will also need to learn the best skills in showing a house, how to market the house effiecently for the areas, and working well with a partner. Learning my partners weaknesses and my weaknesses and how to effectively work to compliment each other.
3. Real Estate Agent/Realtor Nellis Group
I will need to get my real estate license that qualifies me in the DC area. I will also need to learn the etiquette for attending charity events. I have not attended a charity event that is done in a black tie manner, I need to learn what is expected.
4. Real Estate Agent/Realtor Ani Real Estate
- Skills needed: Illinois real estate license, extroverted, entrepreneurial mind, commitment to helping others, team oriented
- Stronger Candidate: I will need to learn the difference is entrepreneurial mindset vs employee mindset. I will need to have a proper income that can support me for a year while learning the ropes of this job
5. Marketing and Event Specialist Old Orchard Periodontics and Implant Dentistry LTD
- Skills needed: Proficient in Word & Excel, social media enthusiast, creative, outgoing, professional, organized, effective communication skills
- Stronger Candidate: I am proficient in word but could learn more skills in excel so taking a refresher class would be helpful. I also need more experience in event marketing, so I will need to take part in event planning.
6. Digital Marketing Associate Chicago’s First Lady
- Skills needed: creativity, social media networking, website publishing, research and analytics, ability to create reports, and planning and strategy efforts
- Stronger Candidate: Better writing skills by writing more blogs. I also need to have better photography skills by practicing taking photos. I will also need to work on prioritizing work by discovering what truly is important to begin with.
7. Customer Communications Specialist Holland Board of Public Works
- Skills needed: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, graphic design experience, knowledge of printing, broadcasting and web production, Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop
- Stronger Candidate: Taking a class in Adobe would help me become a stronger candidate than others who are not as proficient in this area, I also will need to learn the abilities to handle situations that require great attention to detail and concerns with citizens.
8. Marketing and Communications Specialist
- Skills needed: Bachelor’s in marketing, project management and organization skills, communications skills, Adobe, Microsoft, success in digital marketing
- Stronger Candidate: Experience working in a marketing setting by getting an internship before graduation.
