Delta Gamma
February 2019 I joined Theta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma at Grand Valley State University.
It became a fluke that I, Hanna Lawrence, joined a sorority. A fellow peer in my least favorite class, Morgan DeVries, was talking about DG one day and I decided I wanted to join. I went on a coffee date the next day with a CDC of Delta Gamma. Three days later I got the call, “Hanna we would like to offer you a bid to join Delta Gamma.” I was overwhelmed with joy. I could not believe I was going so far outside my comfort zone to join a group of wonderful girls.
Bid Day was overwhelming. I was thrown into a group of girls and just suppose to mingle. It was such an amazing overwhelming feeling. I just stood and took it all in. I could not believe these women were going to help me become a better woman.
Since joining DeeGee I have found my home. I have found a group of friends, I know I will have the rest of my life. I have already been able to participate in fundraisers that go to our Delta Gamma Foundation.
I have never been so busy in my life; with classes, work, and DG. I have never had such a warm heart from feeling loved and supported no matter what.
Delta Gamma is a wonderful organization that will continue to help me grow.
